The 2018 International Symposium on Industrial Electronics - INDEL was held in Banja Luka, Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, 1-3 November 2018.
The Symposium attracted 100+ participants worldwide, from both professional and science institutions.
40 accepted papers were included in the conference program, and presented in six technical sessions and one poster session. Accepted and presented papers are submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore.
A number of outstanding papers presented at the Symposium may be eligible for review for publication in the IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications or the Industry Applications Magazine. Selected papers from the conference will also be considered for publication in Electronics Journal.
During the Symposium, on November 1st, there was a tutorial day, held by Prof. Petar Grbović, Innsbruck Power Electronics Laboratory, and by Prof. Dražen Dujić with his colleagues from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology – EPFL Switzerland.

The Symposium was officially opened by Mr. Alen Šeranić, Minister of Science and Technology of Republic of Srpska on the opening ceremony held on November 2nd.
After the opening ceremony, there were two keynote speeches, by professor Danijel Danković from University of Niš and by professor Dražen Dujić from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology – EPFL Switzerland.

Six oral and one poster technical sessions were held on November 1st and 2nd, while the conference dinner took place in the restaurant „Stara Ada“.
