The paper should contain original results of research that are related to the theory, design, implementation, application, exploitation, maintenance or evaluation aspects of the Symposium main topics. Only the papers that have not been published or presented in any way will be accepted for this Symposium.
Manuscript Preparation
Prospective authors are invited to submit full papers (6 pages max).
The authors should prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the IEEE Conference Template. Manuscripts are to be written in English language. Only PDF format A4 is allowed for submission of the manuscript.
Camera-ready Papers
After the review, authors of accepted papers will be invited to fill the IEEE Copyright Form and submit camera ready papers compliant with PDF eXpress. Detailed instructions for preparing camera ready papers will be available on this web site after the review process is completed.
Each paper must have at least one author associated with it who has paid the regular or student registration fee.
Do not add any page numbering, header or footer other than the copyright info discussed in the following. Add the copyright notice to the bottom left of the first page of your source document before creating a PDF. The following copyright notice has to be added:
Note: Normally, you should select the last example as a copyright notice. If you are unsure which copyright notice to choose, please contact INDEL 2024 Publication Chair at the following email: mladen.knezic@etf.unibl.org.
The addition of the copyright notice to your paper can be done as follows:
\IEEEoverridecommandlockouts
\IEEEpubid{\makebox[\columnwidth]{979-8-3503-5232-0/24/\$31.00~\copyright~2024 IEEE \hfill}
\hspace{\columnsep}\makebox[\columnwidth]{}}
Note: Please add the copyright notice discussed above to the final version of your paper before checking for compliance with IEEE PDF eXpress requirements discussed below.
Final versions of accepted papers must be prepared using IEEE PDF eXpress requirements:
Only if the check for compliance with PDF eXpress was successful, you can submit your final paper. The final paper to be submitted to the Microsoft CMT submission system must be accompanied by a proof of full compliance generated by the PDF eXpress facility. Please forward the email generated by the PDF eXpress facility for the final submission to INDEL 2024 Publication Chair (mladen.knezic@etf.unibl.org). Papers without the compliance proof will not be included in the IEEE Xplore database.
IMPORTANT: Any changes made to a PDF after IEEE PDF eXpress conversion or PDF Checking may invalidate Xplore compatibility. This includes headers, page numbers, copyright notice, watermarks, etc. If any of these elements are desired, they should be added to the document before a PDF is created.
For final submission, log into the Microsoft CMT submission system and access your already existing paper ID. Please do not submit a new paper with a new paper ID, but just update the previously submitted paper by the final version using the Create Camera Ready Submission link. You will also be offered to make the final changes of the paper meta-data (e.g., paper title, abstract, authors, etc.) if necessary.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Ensure that the final paper version uploaded using the Microsoft CMT submission system is the PDF generated by the PDF eXpress facility (that you should have received by email after compliance check is completed successfully) with appropriate IEEE signature (e.g., in Adobe Acrobat Reader you should see a value "Certified by IEEE PDFeXpress at [date-time]" for Application field in Document properties window).
For each paper, one author has to complete the IEEE electronic Copyright Form (eCF). You can access the IEEE eCF form from the Microsoft CMT submission system by clicking on the link Submit IEEE Copyright Form available within your submission. Please follow the instructions provided and do not forget to upload the PDF file generated after signing IEEE eCF to the Microsoft CMT submission system as requested.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure that information about the paper in the IEEE eCF absolutely matches the one in the camera-ready paper you submitted to the Microsoft CMS.
