Why Do We Build for Others and Not for Ourselves?
As part of INDEL 2026, we are pleased to announce the first IEEE PELS Young Professionals (YP) event to be organized within the Symposium program.

Entitled “Why Do We Build for Others and Not for Ourselves?”, this event will bring together students, young professionals, industry representatives, and researchers for a panel discussion on engineering entrepreneurship in the Western Balkans.
Through an open and interactive conversation, our three panelists will explore the challenges and opportunities of developing innovative products and building technology companies in the region. The discussion will be followed by an informal networking session, offering participants an opportunity to exchange ideas, share experiences, and connect with fellow engineers and professionals.
The event is organized with the support of the IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) Young Professionals program and aims to encourage discussion on career development, innovation, and entrepreneurship, while fostering stronger connections between academia and industry.
